2026/27 REGISTRATION, PRE-SEASON AND SEASON INFORMATION
It is with great pleasure that we welcome all new and returning players to Vikings Women’s Softball Club for the upcoming 2026/27 Summer Softball Season. We are looking forward to connecting with our Vikings families and are pleased to provide you with key details to help prepare for the season ahead.
REGISTRATIONS
Registrations are open online from the 17th July 2026, through the RevSport platform. All members are encouraged to register online using the registration form. In-person registration is also available on our Registration Day - details below.
RETURNING PLAYERS - Select Returning Member and enter you personalised Softball ID. If you have forgotten your Softball ID, please email: registrar@vikingssoftball.com.au.
NEW PLAYERS - Select New Member if you have not previously played in a Softball WA competition or registered via RevSport. If you are new to Vikings but have previously played for another club and already have a Softball ID, register as a RETURNING MEMBER, a permit/clearance will need to be created before you can register.
When registering, please select the appropriate player group:
Senior Player - 15+ years, and have the capability to play in and adult competition.
Junior also playing Seniors - 13+ years, playing in both junior and senior competitions. Full uniform purchase required.
Junior Playing - 17 years or under as of the 31st December 2026. (includes U14, U16 and U18 competitions). Contact will be made after registration to confirm selections if required. If we find we do not have an U18 PSL competition, any player over the age of 15 at the 31st December 2026, will need to play in a Senior team.
Vets - 40+ years, eligible to play in Tuesday night Vets competition.
PAYMENT OPTIONS
Save $10 from the fee structure below when you pay your total registration fee
directly in the VWSC Bank Account
BALANCE PAID VIA BANK TRANSFER - This option will require you to pay the SA/SWA Individual Insurance Membership fees through the RevSports payment system at the end of the registration form. No additional account fees will be charged at this step as Vikings well be absorbing these RevSport costs. The remaining balance will be invoice to you, and are to be paid directly int the VWSC bank account OR email treasurer@vikingssoftball.com.au to request the payment plan options that are available.
FULL PAYMENT ONLINE - If you wish to pay in full at time of registration, this option will allow you to pay via Credit Card for the full balance through the RevSport payment system at the end of the registration form. This options will be available by request only, as it requires an additional link to be sent.
Please Note: Any registration fees paid through RevSport payment option, other than the initial SWA fee will incur back fees that are included in the registration fees.

Come along to register in person, try on uniforms, browse merchandise, catch up with friends and maybe even sneak a cheeky drink.
2026/27 REGISTRATION FEES
Due to increases from Softball WA on team fees and individual registrations/insurance and plate umpiring fees, Vikings Women’s Fastpitch Club Inc has made a small adjustment to our 2026/27 fees. The updated fees are as follows:
Junior player $240.00
Junior player also player Seniors $430.00
We are a KidSport registered Club, so if you qualify, please make sure you apply before registration day. Junior registration deposit will still need to be paid online prior to being able to apply for the KidSport voucher.
Senior player $400.00
Senior player also playing Vets $545.00
Vets only players $345.00
Vets player (in affiliated competition) $305.00
Discount of $10 off full fees when invoice payment is made directly into the bank account.
When paying directly in VWSC Bank Account, just pay $10 less than the full invoice value.
Senior plate umpiring and scoring costs are included in the fees.
Junior plate umpiring is now also included into the fees.
FIFO discounts available upon request
State Representatives: 50% discount for returning players. 25% discount for new U16 and Senior players. (contact the registrar after registering)
PRE-SEASON
Pre-season training is an opportunity for all returning and new players, playing in the senior competitions, to come together to connect for the season ahead. We understand that some may have other winter sports and commitments, however, we would appreciate everyone attending one, if not both as this assists with the grading process.
Session 1: Wednesday 16th September 7pm - 9pm
Session 2: Wednesday 23rd September 7pm - 9pm
Both sessions will be held at Kingsway Softball Grounds on Hartman Road, Madeley unless otherwise advised.
TRAINING
Junior: Wednesday from 4.30pm, venue to be confirmed
Senior: Wednesday from 7.00pm, starting on 30th September
Batting Cages: Monday 6.00pm - 8.00pm, starting on the 19th October.
KEEPING IN TOUCH/HAVE A GO DAY
Before the season begins, we will be hosting some “keep in touch/have a go days”. This is a great opportunity for current players to reconnect and enjoy some light training, while giving new players the chance to try softball, meet our coaches and club members, and see what the game is all about before committing to the season.
Sessions: Will start prior to the registration day. Dates and days are still to be confirmed. Details will be advertised on both out facebook page and the TeamReach app.
UNIFORMS
Full Vikings uniform is compulsory and include:
Playing Shirt (new design)
Black Vikings Pants with green piping strip
Black long socks
Vikings hat or visor (either logo)
Undershirt must be black (optional). Uniforms can be purchased online or in person and must be paid in full prior to collection.
Hoodies, jackets and other additional merchandise can also be ordered via the Shop link or in person on registration day, where sample sizes will be available to try on with most, available on the day.

TEAM ALLOCATIONS
We aim to field teams across Senior and Junior divisions (U14, U16, U18 if the competitions is available). Senior teams will be capped at 12 players, Junior U14s at 13 players. Placement is based on registration date and deposit received.
SEASON STARTING DATE
Perth Softball League (PSL) have yet to confirm the official start date. Tentatively, the season is expected to begin in early October. More details will be forwarded when available.
Although games are normally held on Saturday’s, we will potentially have some Thursday or Friday night games prior to Christmas, and some Wednesday and Friday night games after Christmas.

CLUB INVOLVEMENT OPPORTUNITIES
Social Committee: We are looking at putting together a Social Committee to run alongside, but independently to the Club Committee, to help plan events for the season. If you have some great ideas or are interested in being part of the fun, please let us know at secretary@vikingsoftball.com.au. We would love to have you onboard.
Coaches, Scorers and Managers: We are seeking expressions of interest for Coaches, Scorers and Managers for all senior and junior grades. If you or anyone you kow is interested, please fill in the nomination for available on our website, facebook page, or contact a committee member. All coaches are required to have a WWCC and Coaching Accreditation preferred.
Committee: We are committed to supporting our members and keeping our Vikings family united. The committee are working hard to make sure our transition into our 2026/27 season is as smooth as possible and currently working on some exciting things for the upcoming season. Once we have more information to share regarding season start dates and training, we will send this information out to registered players and officials.
SCORING CLINIC
We will be holding a pre-season scoring clinic. This season is ideal for new scorers looking to learn the basics, existing scorers wanting to build their confidence and knowledge, and players who would like to gain a better understanding of the game through scoring. All member are welcome to attend.
Clinic date: Monday 21st September 2026. Time and venue TBA
UPCOMING AGM
Although additional information regarding the upcoming Vikings WSC Annual General Meeting, will be sent out at a later date, there is no harm in booking it in your diary now.
AGM date: Wednesday 11th November, which falls in line with our regular training date. Training will be shortened to a 1-hour training session, with the AGM after. A Sausage Sizzle will be provided to all members that stay for the AGM.
FUNDRAISING PARTICIPATION
VWSC are please to be able to offer participation in our off-season BBQ fundraising. You will be eligible for a $50 discount for every shift you do. Our first Bunnings Sausage Sizzle is Saturday 22nd August. If you are not available to take advantage of this date, there will still be an opportunity to be involved in another one. Details TBA. Multiple shifts = multiple discounts to put towards anything you like: registration or uniforms. Email registrar@vikingssoftball.com.au to get involved.
