At the Vikings Women’s Softball Club, the Valhalla Award is gracefully bestowed upon on the most worthy player who exemplifies exceptional prowess and dedication each season, recognising them as the club's Most Valuable Player.

The TKM Award is a heartfelt tribute in memory of Taylor Murray, honouring the legacy of a dedicated and spirited junior club member whose influence continues to inspire us. This prestigious award celebrates the values Taylor cherished—sportsmanship, commitment, leadership, and an unwavering passion for softball.

While they may not necessarily be the most skilled player in the teams, they consistently gives 120% effort on the field. Their commitment and dedication shine through as they always offers their best performance. A team player who encourages and motivates others, vocal on the field, and a natural leader in the game.

Traditionally presented to a player in our highest junior teams—Under 18s or Under 16s—the TKM Award has also been adapted to the structures of our club. We are committed to preserving the spirit of this accolade and when no junior teams are fielded, we may expand eligibility to include any junior member under 18 who is participating in a senior team this season.

Presented by Taylor’s mother, Melissa White and her family, we continue to invite everyone to wear something yellow for our TKM week each year in February .
