2025/26 REGISTRATION, PRE-SEASON & SEASON INFORMATION
It is with great pleasure that we welcome all new and returning players to Vikings Women’s Softball Club for the upcoming 2025/26 Summer Softball season. We are looking forward to reconnecting with our Vikings families and are pleased to provide you with key details to help prepare for the season ahead.
REGISTRATIONS
Registrations are open online from the 7th July 2025, through the RevSport platform. All members are encouraged to register online using the registration form. In- person registration is also available on our Registration Day - details below. CLICK HERE to complete your Summer Registration Form after the 7th July 2025.
Returning Players: Select RETURNING MEMBER and enter your personalised Softball ID. If you have forgotten your Softball ID, please email: registrar@vikingssoftball.com.au for assistance.
New Players: Select NEW MEMBER if you have not previously played in a Softball WA competition or registered via RevSport.
When registering, please select the appropriate player group:
♦ Senior Player – 15 years+, and have the capability to play in an adult competition.
♦ Junior also playing Seniors – 13+ years, playing in both Junior and Senior competitions. Full uniform purchase required.
♦ Junior Player – 17 years or under as of 31st December 2025. (includes U14, U16 and U18 competitions). Contact will be made after registration to confirm selection if required.
If we find we do not have an Under 18 PSL competition, any player over the age of 15 at the 31st December 2025, will need to play in a Senior team.
♦ Vets – 40+ years eligible to play in the Tuesday night Vets competition.
PAYMENT OPTIONS
Balance paid via Bank Transfer: This option will require you to pay the SA/SWA Individual Insurance Membership fees through the Rev Sports payment system at the end of the registration form. No additional account fees will be charged at this step as Vikings will be absorbing these RevSport costs. The remaining balance will be invoiced to you, and are to be paid directly into the VWSC Bank account OR email treasurer@vikingssoftball.com.au to request the payment plan options that are available.
Full Payment online: If you wish to pay in full at time of Registration, this option will allow you to pay via Credit Card for the full balance through the RevSport payment system at the end of the registration form. This option will be available by request only, as it requires an additional link to be sent.
Please note: Any Registration fees paid through RevSport payment option, other than the initial SWA fee will incur bank fees that are included in the registration fees.
♦ Save $10 from the fee structure below when you pay your total registration fee directly into the VWSC Bank Account.
UMPIRING/FUNDRAISING LEVY
A $30 levy is required for all players (junior and senior), allocated as follows:
♦ Junior Levy: Offsets Plate Umpiring fees
♦ Senior Levy: Supports the club operations and equipment
♦ No further fundraising obligations will be expected for the remainder of the season.
This levy will be added to your final payment balance invoice sent out after registrations have closed. Please note: Team base umpiring duties will still need to be organised within each team.
REGISTRATION DAY
Date: Sunday 03rd August 2025
Time: 2pm to 5pm
Location: Kingsway Reserve Hockey/Cricket Clubrooms, cnr Bellerive Blvd and Goal Way Madeley. (Note: this is not at our regular training ground venue).
Come along to register in person, try on uniforms, browse merchandise catch up with friends and maybe event sneak in a cheeky drink. You can even bring your glove down and have a go at some set up training stations.
We are a KidSport registered Club, so if you qualify, please make sure you apply before Registration Day.
2025/26 REGISTRATION FEES
Due to increases from Softball WA on both Team Fees & Individual Registration/Insurance and Plate Umpiring fees, Vikings Women’s Fastpitch Club Inc 2025/26 Fees have increased slightly. And are as follows:
♦ Junior player $200.00
♦ Junior player also playing Seniors $405.00
♦ Senior player $365.00
♦ Senior player also playing Vets $510.00
♦ Vets only player $310.00
♦ Vets player (in affiliated competition) $270.00
♦ Discount of $10 off full fees when Invoice payment is made directly into the back account.
When paying directly in VWSC Bank Account, just pay $10 less than the full invoice value.
♦ Senior Plate Umpiring costs are included in the fees, Junior Plate Umpiring is incorporated into the levy.
♦ FIFO discounts available upon request.
♦ State Representatives: 50% discount for returning players; 25% discount for new U16 and Senior players (contact registrar after registering)
PRE-SEASON
Pre-season training is an opportunity for all returning and new players, playing in the senior competitions, to come together to connect for the season ahead. We understand that some may have other Winter Sports and commitments, however, we would appreciate everyone attending one, if not both as this assists with the grading process.
Session 1: Wednesday 17th September 7pm to 9pm
Session 2: Wednesday 24th September 7pm to 9pm
Both sessions will be held at Kingsway Softball Grounds on Hartman Road, Madeley unless otherwise advised.
TRAINING
Juniors: Wednesday from 4.30pm (rugby/cricket oval/John Maloney) venue TBA.
Seniors: Wednesday from 7.00pm, starting 1st of October
Batting Cages: Monday 6.00pm to 8.00pm, starting on the 6th of October
UNIFORMS
Full Vikings Uniform is compulsory and includes:
♦ Playing Shirt (new design)
♦ Black Vikings Pants
♦ Black Long Socks
♦ Vikings Hat or Visor (either logo)
Undershirt must be black (optional). Uniforms can be purchase online or in person and must be paid in full prior to collection
Hoodies, Jackets and other additional merchandise can also be ordered via the SHOP link or in person on Registration Day where Samples Sizes will also be available to try on with most being available on the day.

TEAM ALLOCATIONS
We aim to field teams across Senior and Junior divisions(U14, U16 & U18 girls if the competitions are available). Senior teams will be capped at 12 players. Placement is based on registration date and deposit received.
♦ U14s: Only one team will be nominated. Priority is given to returning players registered by the 10th August 2025. A waiting list will apply beyond 13 players.
SEASON START DATE
Perth Softball League have yet to confirm the official start date. Tentatively, the season is expected to begin the week of the 11th of October 2025.

Social Committee: We are looking at putting together a Social Committee to run alongside, but independently to the Club Committee, to put together Social Events for the season. If you have some great ideas or are interested in being part of the fun, please let us know at secretary@vikingssoftball.com.au We would love to have you onboard. Coaches, Scorers & Managers: We are seeking expressions of interest for Coaches, Scorers and Managers for all Senior and Junior grades. If you or anyone you know is interested, please fill in the nomination form available on our website, Facebook page, or contact a committee member. All coaches are required to have a WWCC and Coaching Accreditation.
Committee: We are committed to supporting our members and keeping our Vikings family united. The committee are working hard to make sure our transition into our 2025/26 season is as smooth as possible and currently working on some exciting things for the upcoming season. Once we have more information to share regarding season start dates and training, we will send this information out to registered players and officials.
UPCOMING AGM
Although additional information regarding the upcoming Vikings WSC Annual General Meeting will be sent out at a later date, there is no harm in booking it in your diary now. AGM date: Wednesday 12th November, which falls in line with our regular training date. Training will be shortened to a 1-hour training session, with the AGM after. BBQ Sausage Sizzle will be provided to all members that stary for the AGM.
20th ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATIONS
With the Vikings Women’s Softball Club’s inaugural year in 2005, we are proud to announce this season marks our 20th year. We are in the process of putting together an event for all past and present members to mark such a significant milestone. Although details have not been formalised yet, we have put in a tentative date of:
♦ Saturday the 18th of April 2026.
♦ Stay tuned for more details.
We are please to be able to offer participation in our off season fundraising. You will be eligible for a $50 discount or every shift. Our first Bunnings BBQ is Sunday 17th August. If you were not available to take advantage of this date, there is still a chance to be involved in another one, details TBA. Multiple shifts = multiple discounts to put towards anything you like, ie; Registration, Uniforms, 20th Anniversary event! Email: registrar@vikingssoftball.com.au to get involved.
